90 DAYS SAME AS CASH FAQ 

90 Days Same as Cash is a unique program designed to help your patients finance their dental treatment up to $2,000.  Your insurance patients can also utilize this service to finance their portion and take advantage of their insurance maximum before years end.  In our practices we promote this program through our marketing to attract new patients.

Q:  How does 90 Days Same As Cash work?

A:  Your patient completes a short application.  Your patient gives you a personal check for 1/3 of the amount being financed.  Our company performs a quick review over the phone to make sure your patient doesn’t have a record of writing bad checks.  Your patient also writes 3 more checks, each of which amount to about 22% of the amount financed.  These checks will be processed in 30, 60 and 90 days.  Here is an example of how $1,000 being financed would look:

Amount financed: $1,000.00

Patient makes 1/3 down payment which is processed immediately:  $333.33

Patient writes three more checks,                               30 Days:     $222.22

And one will be processed every 30 days                    60 Days:     $222.22

For 90 days:                                                              90 Days:    $222.23

                                                                     Total Financed:    $1,000.00

You will receive 90% of the amount financed, or $900.00, which will be credited into your bank account within 3 business days.  This is consistent with the other patient financing programs your practice already uses. 

Q:  What if one of the patient’s checks does not clear?

A:  That is the responsibility of the finance company-once the patient is initially approved, you receive your funds without recourse.

Q:  Does the patient pay any interest"

A:  No-your patient pays no interest or fees. 

Q:  Can we run this program through debit or credit cards instead of personal checks?

A:  No, the system requires checks (checking account number and routing number) to comply with federal banking laws. 

Q:  Are there any other costs to use the system?

A:  There is a one time set-up and application fee of $795.  If you own multiple offices, each additional office will cost $195 to set up.  Monthly lease and maintenance fee is $99 per office.  These fees help to offset the cost of what I’m sure you would agree is risky business in this challenging economy. 

Q:  Why haven’t I heard of this program?

A:  This program has been used with retailers for the last 14 years on a national scale.  We recently started to promote our program to dentists and their patients and we raised our maximum amount financed from $1,500 to $2,000 to accomodate your dental clients.

Q:  How does this program differ from other patient financing programs like Chase or Care Credit?

A:  90 Days Same as Cash doesn’t base the decision to lend money on the credit worthiness of the patient.  If your patient has no record of writing bad checks or felony history, chances are very good that they will be approved. 

Q:  How long does the patient application process take?

A:  About 5 minutes.  Once you receive confirmation, you can start treatment immediately. 

Q:  Does this make sense for my practice?

A:  Absolutely-you cannot have too many payment options for your patients seeking treatment.  A 20% increase in practice revenue will result in a 50% increase in profit for most practitioners.
